Ballen Badehotel from 1928 is situated in the center of Ballen on the east side of South Samsø and just steps from the marina, beaches, cafes, restaurants and shopping.

The hotel is the ideal setting for holiday, short breaks, weekend breaks and golf trips, big and small parties, meetings, conferences and seminars in the multifunctional Cafe / Lounge Emil B.

Ballen Badehotel offers renovated rooms and annexe, new terrace houses, suite and garden house, several apartments at Ballen Strandpark, Rigmors Hus and Holmsborg.  All the rooms have free wi-fi and flatscreen TV. Rooms, apartments and indoor areas are non smoking area.

The kitchen chefs are skilled and professional and value the diversity of commodities and specialties from large and small producers on Samsoe, both traditional as well as modern dishes, fresh fish, and exciting menus at a great gastronomic level.

The restaurant gets freshly caught fish from Mogens at the port. Organic white asparagus from Jette & Christian in Alstrup. Strawberries and peas from Aage in Besser. Green asparagus, yellow squash and artichokes from Erik in Onsbjerg. All season fresh potatoes and changing varieties from Langemark Farm in Besser.

We have the most exciting wine list with wines from the best wine countries in Europe and of high quality and favorable prices. We look forward to welcoming you in the restaurant, with skilled and attentive service and serving in a cozy and informal atmosphere. If the weather is nice and Sunny dinner is also served at our terrace outside the restaurant.Reservation outside is not possible.

The restaurant is open every day from 6 pm. Reservation is recommended.
